This Privacy Policy explains how MyTestPro LLC (“MyTestPro,” “we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our websites and subdomains (including lovefactor.mytestpro.com), apps, quizzes, reports, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Service.

Contact for all privacy matters: support@mytestpro.com

1. Who we are; scope

  • Controller: MyTestPro LLC (for users worldwide).
  • This Policy applies to all visitors and users, whether interacting with free features (e.g., starting a quiz) or paid features (e.g., purchasing a report or subscription).

2. Information we collect

We collect the minimum data needed to operate and improve the Service.

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account & purchase details (if/when accounts are offered): name, email; purchase metadata (product, price, currency), limited billing details. We do not store full card numbers; payments are processed by third-party processors.
  • Quiz inputs & responses: your answers to questions and optional free-text entries.
  • Generated results/insights: scores, categories, guidance and reports derived from your inputs.
  • Support communications: messages you send us (including attachments you choose to provide), and metadata needed to reply.
  • Marketing preferences: your choices about email/SMS and cookies.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device & usage data: IP address, approximate location (country/region), device type, OS/browser, language, referring/exit pages, timestamps, pages/screens viewed, clicks, scrolls, session duration.
  • Cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar tech: used for essential functionality, analytics, fraud prevention, and—where permitted—ads measurement or personalization. See Section 10.

2.3 Information from third parties (where applicable)

  • Payment processors (e.g., confirmation of payment status; partial billing metadata).
  • Analytics/ads partners (aggregated or pseudonymous metrics, campaign parameters).
  • Anti-fraud and risk tools (signals needed to prevent abuse).

3. Why we process your information (purposes & legal bases)

We process personal information for:

  • Service delivery & contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR / similar laws): run quizzes, generate results and reports, fulfill purchases, provide support, maintain accounts.
  • Fraud prevention, security & integrity (legitimate interests / legal obligations): detect abuse, manage chargebacks and risk, secure accounts and payments.
  • Analytics & Service improvement (legitimate interests; consent where required): measure usage, debug issues, improve questions, scoring, UX, and pricing tests.
  • Personalization & recommendations (legitimate interests; consent where required): tailor content (e.g., which quiz or follow-up content you see).
  • Marketing communications (consent or soft opt-in where permitted; opt-out anytime).
  • Compliance & recordkeeping (legal obligations): tax, accounting, requests from authorities, user-rights fulfillment.

No professional advice: Our content is for information/education/entertainment; it is not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

4. Automated decisions, scoring & profiling

Our quizzes algorithmically compute scores/categories and generate personalized text. These outputs do not produce legal or similarly significant effects. You may contact support@mytestpro.com to:
(a) request a high-level explanation of the logic; (b) object to certain profiling where applicable; or (c) request deletion of your quiz data (see Section 8).

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share only as needed to operate the Service:

  • Service providers/processors: hosting/CDN, analytics, customer support, email/SMS delivery, payment processing, risk/fraud detection, A/B testing.
  • Payment processors: to process transactions; we receive limited status/metadata.
  • Legal/compliance: to comply with law, enforce Terms, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, safety, and integrity.
  • Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may transfer subject to this Policy or a successor policy of equal or stronger protection.

If we engage in cross-context behavioral advertising (retargeting or ad-measurement that uses personal data), we will provide applicable opt-outs (see Section 10 and Section 9.3 California/US).

6. International transfers

We may transfer data to countries outside your own (e.g., to the U.S.). Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and additional measures. You may request information about these safeguards at support@mytestpro.com.

7. Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law or to establish/defend legal claims.

Typical retention (subject to change):

  • Quiz answers & generated reports: up to 24 months from last activity, then deletion or de-identification.
  • Account identifiers & preferences: for the life of the account and 24 months after closure.
  • Analytics logs: 12–24 months (aggregated thereafter).
  • Transaction records (invoices, tax): 7 years (or statutory requirement).
  • Backups: limited-time encrypted backups with scheduled overwrites.

You can request deletion at any time (see Section 8).

8. Your privacy rights

Your rights vary by region, but may include:

  • Access: confirmation and copy of your data.
  • Correction: fix inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: request erasure (subject to legal/legitimate exceptions).
  • Portability: receive data in a portable format.
  • Restriction/Objection: to certain processing (e.g., profiling for direct marketing).
  • Withdraw consent: when processing is based on consent (e.g., marketing cookies/emails).

How to exercise: email support@mytestpro.com with your request and sufficient details to verify you. We may ask for reasonable additional information to confirm identity and to protect users’ data.

Appeals: If your local law provides an appeal right (e.g., some U.S. states), you may appeal a decision by replying to our response and writing “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line.

9. Region-specific disclosures

9.1 EEA/UK/Switzerland (GDPR/UK GDPR)

  • Controller: MyTestPro LLC.
  • Legal bases: See Section 3.
  • Complaints: You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first at support@mytestpro.com.

9.2 Brazil (LGPD)

  • We process data under bases similar to GDPR (e.g., contract, legitimate interest, consent, legal obligation).
  • You have LGPD rights (access, correction, deletion, portability, anonymization/blocking, information about sharing, and review of automated decisions). Use support@mytestpro.com.

9.3 California & other U.S. state laws (CPRA/“CCPA”, CO, CT, VA, UT, etc.)

  • Notice at collection – categories we may collect: identifiers (email, IP), commercial information (purchases), internet activity (usage data), geolocation (coarse), inferences (quiz-based scores/categories), and limited payment metadata from processors.
  • Sensitive information: we do not intentionally collect sensitive categories (e.g., health diagnoses) and instruct users not to include such data in free-text. If provided, we use it only as allowed by law (e.g., to provide the Service or ensure security) and do not use it to infer characteristics beyond the quiz you take.
  • Sell/share: we do not sell personal information. If we “share” for cross-context behavioral advertising (as defined by CPRA), you may opt out via our Cookie/Tracking Preferences tool when available or by emailing support@mytestpro.com. We honor GPC (Global Privacy Control) signals where required.
  • Right to know, delete, correct, opt-out, limit use of sensitive PI (where applicable). Submit requests to support@mytestpro.com.
  • Authorized agents: If you use an agent, we may require written authorization and identity verification.
  • Non-discrimination: You will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights.

10. Cookies & similar technologies

We use:

  • Essential cookies (strictly necessary): security, load balancing, basic preferences, checkout.
  • Analytics & performance: to understand usage and improve features (e.g., page flows, completion rates, debugging).
  • Advertising/measurement (if enabled): to measure campaign performance, limit frequency, and—where permitted—personalize or retarget.

Your choices

  • Cookie banner (EEA/UK and other consent regions): non-essential cookies load only after consent. You can withdraw consent at any time via in-product Cookie/Tracking Preferences (when available) or by adjusting browser settings.
  • Do Not Track: most browsers offer DNT; industry standards vary. We honor applicable signals like GPC where required by law.
  • Email/SMS marketing: unsubscribe links are included in messages; or email support@mytestpro.com.

Because third-party tools may change over time, specific partners may vary; we contractually require processors to protect your data and process it only under our instructions.

11. Payment processing

Payments are handled by third-party processors. We receive confirmation of payment and limited metadata (e.g., last four digits, expiration month, status) but do not store full card numbers or CVV. Disputes/chargebacks may require us to exchange relevant information with the processor for investigation and fraud prevention (see Section 5).

12. Security

We apply administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls, network safeguards, least-privilege practices). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and promptly notifying us of suspected misuse.

13. Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a person under 18 has provided us data, contact support@mytestpro.com and we will delete it.

14. Third-party links

The Service may link to third-party websites/services. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest revision. Material changes will be reasonably highlighted (e.g., on-site notice). Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
